Douglas Jay Lairson age 68 of Garden City, Missouri departed this life Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Cremation with a Celebration of life will be held at a later date at the Gunn City Christian Church, Gunn City, Missouri with Inurnment at Gunn City Cemetery, Gunn City, Missouri. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Gunn City Christian Church Memorial Fund and send in care to Dickey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 432, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
