Ella "Jeannie" Jean (Kosfeld) Fahnestock, 79, of Arkansas City, KS, passed away December 25, 2016. She was born October 31, 1937, in Overton, MO, to Robert F. and Eulas M. (Friedrich) Kosfeld.
Jeannie grew up near Booneville, MO, moving to Kansas City, in her late teen years, where she met and married Albert A. Lightle Sr., who preceded her in death. She later married Lloyd E. Fahnestock, who also preceded her in death. Prior to her retirement she worked as a beautician and a dental lab technician.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bobbie M. Buerky.
Jeannie is survived by sons Albert Lightle Jr. (Ann), Robert Lightle (Lorie), James Lightle (Buddy), stepson Jay (Mary) Fahnestock, step daughters Deborah Tippie and Dana (Cliff) Lawrence, sisters Frieda (Mark) Thompson, Rebecca (Mike) Stigall, numerous grand children, great grand children, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Floral Hills East Cemetery, Lee's Summit, Missouri.
