Elmo "Buck" Grable

Elmo “Buck” Grable, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Lees Summit Medical Center.

Born August 28, 1947 in Brookfield, Missouri, he later made Harrisonville his lifelong home. He began his working years on the family farm before proudly serving his country in the United States Army, enlisting in 1966. After his military service, he spent time as a truck driver and eventually became the owner of Triple A Asphalt Company in Harrisonville, Missouri where he built a strong reputation for hard work and dedication.

He was a man who found joy in the simple things. He loved being outdoors—hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his nine children: Kimberly Lukenbill, Paula Grable, Ron Grable, Grady Boly, Richard Boly, Sheri Grable, Caleb Grable, Michelle Grable, and Tony Grable; his six grandchildren: Dakota Lukenbill, Christopher Lukenbill, Mandy Grable, Kayla Sportsman, Tyler Dye, and Hayley Boly; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Anna Grable, Robert Lukenbill, Mary Burris, and his beloved wife, Betty Grable and one great-grandchild Chase.

His life will be celebrated and remembered with love, honor, and gratitude by all who knew him.

Cremation with graveside service will be held at a later date.

Service details will be posted once that information becomes available.
