Frances Mary Situ

Frances Mary Situ, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born January 4, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Donald A. and Sophie (Hnatyk) Swart. She departed this life on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Golden Years Care Services, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 7 days.

On August 21, 1971, Frances was united in marriage to Gordon Situ.

Frances was a registered nurse for Meadowview Health and Rehab formerly known as Camden Health Center until her retirement in 2010. Frances was of the Catholic Faith. She had a great love for dogs and enjoyed crocheting. Frances enjoyed growing and pruning her flower and fruit trees.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon on September 19, 1992; two brothers, Donald Swart Jr. and Robert Swart.

Frances is survived by a son, Peter Situ and wife Lori, Webb City, Missouri; two daughters, Anastasia Situ and Victoria Situ both of Harrisonville, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Alexander, Caiden, Izzabell and Rayna; two brothers, Michael Swart and Paul Swart both of Manteno, Illinois; her partner, Steve Carter, Harrisonville, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA and may be left at the funeral home.

The family is requesting that if you attend the service to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
