Frankie "Corkey" Romi

Frankie “Corkey” Romi of Collins, Missouri, was born on October 24, 1967, in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Edward Redmon and Mary Holland. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare, Clinton, Missouri at the age of 57.

Frankie married Thomas Romi on March 3, 2007 in Melbourne, Florida. Frankie had a passion for riding her motorcycle, loved socializing with friends, and found great happiness in cooking for the people she cared about. Her warmth, laughter, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Pauline Mason, and Debbie Burton.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Romi of Collins, MO; daughters Misty Clark, Samantha (Brent) Romig, Jessica (Sean) Davis, Tiffany (Jason) Deshon; sons Kenneth (Amanda) Davis, Andrew Hayes; brother Gerald Wayne Redmon; 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild on the way; as well as many other relatives and a host of friends.

Cremation with a celebration of life gathering will be held 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025 at American Legion Tirey J. Ford Post 21, Independence, MO.
