Fred L. Miner Jr.

Fred Laverne Miner Jr. of Lexington, Missouri formerly of Harrisonville, Missouri and Louisville, Nebraska was born January 30, 1957 in Omaha, Nebraska the son of Fred Laverne Sr. and Sharon Lynn (Robbins) Miner.  He departed this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the Lafayette Regional Health Center, Lexington at the age of 65 years, 8 months and 19 days.

Fred received a bachelor’s degree from Peru State University in Peru, Nebraska.  He enjoyed drama and participated in many plays in high school and college.  Fred was willing to help anyone and give his shirt off his back.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Fred is survived by his brother, William Miner Sr. and wife Marla, Peculiar, Missouri; 3 nephews, William Miner Jr., Brandon Miner, Garrett Miner and a niece, Ashley Meyer; several great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Glendale Cemetery, Louisburg, Nebraska.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
