Garry D. Mason

Garry Duwayne Mason, 61, of Raymore, MO, passed away on June 1st, at his home.

Born on December 1, 1964 in Kansas City, KS, he was the youngest child of Kenneth Dale Mason and Elizabeth Darlene Mason. He attended Blue Springs High School and went on to graduate from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union.

Garry spent 36 years working as a journeyman plumber before retiring in 2012. Outside of work, he loved football, baseball, hunting and fishing. A dedicated husband, father, and grandfather (Papaw), Garry will be remembered for his reliability, work ethic, and sense of humor.

He married Deborah Felarski in 1983, and together they shared 43 beautiful years together.

Garry is survived by Deborah Mason and their children; Amanda Kabir, Emily Mason, and Jesse Masters (and spouse), two grandchildren, two brothers; Larry Mason (and spouse) and Dennis Mason and one sister; Cathy Freeman (and spouse) and ten nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Elizabeth Mason, and sisters Oleta Mason and Denise Roberts. 

Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with a Graveside Service at 2:30 p.m. at Lake Cemetery, Lamar, Missouri. 

Visitation will be held 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
