George Clarence Taylor, age 64, of Creighton, Missouri, departed this life on May 27, 2026, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
George was born on August 6, 1961, in Harrisonville, Missouri, the son of Glenn and Maxine Taylor. He was born and raised in Garden City, Missouri, where he spent much of his life before later moving to Creighton, Missouri, to live with his sister, Ruth.
George was a simple man who found happiness in the little things in life. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved collecting many different things over the years. He was content spending time outside, appreciating nature and the quiet moments life had to offer.
George was one of a kind. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, simple way of life, and the memories shared with those who knew and loved him.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Maxine Taylor and brother, Glenn “Sonny” Taylor.
He is survived by his sisters, Ruth Akins, Candi Sims, Freda Blair, and Judy Felton; his brother, Gary Taylor; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association and sent in care to Dickey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 432, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
Celebration of Life services will be held 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Freedom Point Church, Garden City, Missouri.
