George Russell (G.R.) Milner of the Village of Loch Lloyd, Missouri was born August 14, 1940 in Holden, Missouri. He was the son of Howard and Mildred (Gillilan) Milner. He was the oldest of 3 children. He departed this life Sunday August 17, 2014 at his home at the age of 74 after a long battle with Parkinson’s, Disease and Alzheimer’s.
G.R. was the owner and President of G.R. Milner Ford in Harrisonville, Missouri for over 50 years. While still in high school, G.R. began working for Henderson Burris Ford as a bookkeeper at the age of 17 years old. He soon became the owner of the dealership. G.R. graduated from Harrisonville High School.
His passions in life were flying his air planes, playing golf, boating and traveling. G.R. had a very sharp mind and loved math and physics. His idol was Albert Einstein. G.R. was a very proud Grandpa and Great Grandpa. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. G.R. was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Bret Milner, and a stepson Colby Brown.
He is survived by his wife Karazo Milner of the home; a stepson Kyle Brown and wife Tina; a son Scott Milner and wife Marcia; a brother, Charles Milner and wife Bea; a sister, Lorene Wilson and husband Tom; three granddaughters, Ashley Shrout and husband Luke; Lynsey McNeal and husband Mitchell; Lauren Milner and fiancé Derrick Peterson; four great grandchildren, Jackson, Trenton, Brodie, and Kennady; one niece, Carol Gordon and husband Denver.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Orient Cemetery.
