Hazel Bogart

Mrs. Hazel Evelyn Bogart, of Paola, Kansas, was born January 25, 1918 in Appleton City, Missouri, the daughter of Peter Morgan and Martha Elizabeth (Wilson) Boyles. She departed this life Sunday, February 4, 2007, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas at the age of 89 years and 9 days.
On April 22, 1961, Hazel was united in marriage to Leonard Elmer Bogart.
Hazel was a homemaker and retired from King Radio, Olathe, Kansas. She was a Christian. Hazel loved to crochet, make quilts, spend time with her family and children of all ages. She had lived in Overland Park, Kansas, La Cygne, Kansas, Butler, Missouri before moving to Paola, Kansas.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard on May 12, 1991 and a brother, Bud Boyles.
She is survived by a sister, Opal M. Reeves, Independence, Missouri; her nephews, J.R. Laquet, Independence, Missouri, James Cornell, Lee's Summit, Missouri; her nieces, Shirley Stroud, Blue Springs, Missouri, Linda Edwards, Ellsworth, Kansas; a great-niece, Emma McDonald.
Graveside services and interment were held Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
