Jacob E. Mills

Jacob Edward Mills of Peculiar, Missouri was born May 27, 1993 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Jeffery Lee and Gayla Pearl (Todd) Mills. He departed this life on Friday, March 22, 2013 as the result of an automobile accident near Raymore, Missouri at the age of 19 years. 9 months and 25 days.
Jacob was employed in the warehouse at Quik Trip, Belton, Missouri since May of 2011. He loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with friends, playing baseball, was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jacob was a lifelong area resident and was a 2011 graduate of Raymore-Peculiar High School, Peculiar, Missouri. Jacob is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, William Jacob and Josephine Mills; maternal great-grandparents, Delbert and Mary Kendrick; maternal grandparents, Edward and Genevieve Todd.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Jeff and Gayla Mills of the home; a sister, Jessie Greufe and husband Matt, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; a brother, Justin Mills and fiancé, Jennifer, Ft. Worth, Texas; a niece, Addison Greufe; his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Verna Mills; an aunt and uncle, Tina and Brian Walton all of Garden City, Missouri; an aunt, Brenda Mills, Raymore, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Bennett Springs State Park.
