Janice Jackson

Janice Lynn Jackson 64, of Belton, Mo. went home to be with Jesus on Friday December 27th, 2019 surrounded by many loved ones.

Jan as many knew her was born on April 10th, 1955 in Kansas City Mo. to James and Barbara Hoback. In her early childhood years she was raised in California where she spent precious time with her Nana.

Later they moved to Shawnee Mission, KS. To be near her mother's family. She graduated from Shawnee Mission High School. She had a passion for horse back riding, loved crocheting, sewing, and listening to her oldies. In 1980 she got married to the love of her life Joe A. Jackson. They began a family shortly after in 1981. They had 4 beautiful children who she devoted her life to. She had a strong faith always leaning on Jesus for strength and support. She was involved in many church activities through out her life. She loved sharing about her amazing God and all his mighty miracles. After moving to Belton, Mo. and raising her children she enjoyed taking care of her mother; Spending time with family and soaking up every second of her 9 Grandchildren. Jan was a true faithful servant of God and such a beautiful soul. Many adored her and called her mom and friend she will be missed dearly.

Jan was survived by; her 4 children Julie and husband Vincent Rice, Joseph Jackson, Joni and husband Seth Wyatt, Jeff Jackson and wife Elizabeth. 9 Grandchildren Dominic and Leah Rice, Ryder Jackson, Tyson, Leighlin, Charlyanna, and Axael Wyatt, Josie and Lydia Jackson.

Jan was preceded by; her parents James and Barbara Hoback, twin brothers, and her beloved husband Joe A. Jackson.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2020 with visitation from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the Belton Assembly of God Church, 613 E. North Avenue, Belton, Missouri 64012.
