Johnny Parker

Johnny Laverne Parker, of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born May 6, 1951 in Mountain Grove, Missouri, the son of Donald Laverne and Bonnie Jean (Aldrige) Parker. He departed this life Saturday, September 3, 2005, Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville at the age of 54 years, 3 months and 27 days.
On July 25, 1970, Johnny was united in marriage to Mary Elesbeth Groves in Kansas City, MO.
Johnny was employed as a Mechanic for A-1 Alignment, Kansas City, Missouri for 13 years. He loved antique cars and was an outdoor person who loved to hunt and fish. Johnny had lived in Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Harrisonville on February 14, 1983.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Parker of the home; a son, Kris D. Parker, Garden City, Missouri; a daughter, Sheree L. Parker, Harrisonville, Missouri; a granddaughter, Alexus; his mother, Bonnie Johnson, Mountain Grove, Missouri; two brothers, Danny Parker, Modesto, California, Ronnie Parker, Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville with burial in the Maplewood Cemetery, Brownington, Missouri.
