Karen Pace

Karen Lou Pace of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born February 20, 1944, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Raymond Young and Katherine Ann Stone. She departed this life on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 909 Mission Road in Harrisonville, Missouri, at the age of 82.

November 30, 1984, Karen was united in marriage to Francis John Pace III in Harrisonville, Missouri, who proceeded her in death.

Karen was an avid gardener and loved to make her yard the talk of the neighborhood. She was ornery and silly and loved to joke around. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and attended the Harrisonville Kingdom Hall.

Karen is survived by her daughters, Pam Utterback and her husband, Jeff, of Lake Arrowhead, California; Tina Leone and her husband, Paul, of Harrisonville, Missouri; and her son, Robert Dale, of Sulphur Springs, Texas; five grandchildren (Michael, Andrew, Anthony, Cecil and Justin); six great-grandchildren (Amilia, Gianna, Adyn, Serenity, Joey, Keaton) ; and other relatives and many friends.

An open house will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 909 Mission Road in Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
