Keith Andrew Kriedeman, 67, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Shawnee Post Acute and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on October 13, 1958, in Minot, North Dakota, the son of Fred and Helen Kriedeman.
In his early years, right after graduating high school, Keith worked alongside his family at American Glass and Window, the window‑glazing business owned by his parents. There, he spent his days learning the trade with his brother Bob and brother‑in‑law Ed—an experience that shaped his strong work ethic and his appreciation for hands‑on craftsmanship.
Throughout his life, Keith held many hobbies that reflected his curiosity and love for the world around him. He enjoyed cooking, cars, being outdoors, and later in life, motorcycles. His sister, Barb Owen of Olympia, Washington, fondly remembers her big brother—ten years older—starting dinner for the family when their parents were working. She also recalls the pride he took in the vehicles he drove, including a beautiful black pickup truck and a fast, unforgettable Camaro.
Keith’s adventurous spirit carried into his career as a truck driver, where he logged countless miles across the United States. He often returned home with stories of the landscapes he’d crossed and the people he’d met, sharing them with humor and a sense of wonder.
In 1987, Keith met the love of his life, Tina, after moving just three houses down from her and her two children, Kyle and Mary. Their connection was immediate and enduring. Keith and Tina were married on April 27, 1991, and together they built a life rooted in companionship, laughter, and a shared love of the outdoors. Whether exploring parks and zoos throughout the Pacific Northwest, fishing, or visiting Whidbey Island, they found joy simply being together in nature.
Keith was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tina Louise Kriedeman, his parents, Fred and Helen Kriedeman, and his sister, Colleen “Cookie” Edwards of Seattle, Washington.
He is survived by his son Kurtis Kriedeman, partner Ashley, and their daughters Charisma and Adalynne; his step‑daughter Mary Cloe (Gunderson), her husband Jon, and their children Andy (16) and Annabelle (13); and his step‑son Kyle Gunderson and his wife Jennifer. He also leaves behind his sister Barb Owen and her husband Jeff; his brother Bob Kriedeman and wife Geri of Idaho; and many nieces and nephews who will remember him with affection.
Keith will be remembered for his generosity, his sense of adventure, his quiet strength, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. His stories, his laughter, and the memories he created will continue to live on in all who knew him.
Cremation with no services scheduled with inurnment at Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, Missouri at a later date.
