Laurie Lynn Stine

February 2, 1956 — July 9, 2020

Laurie Lynn Stine, of Kansas City, Missouri was born February 2, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Robert Tracy and Winnifred Jeannette (Rowe) Provo. She went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the age of 64 years.

Laurie grew up in Minneapolis and Burnsville, Minnesota and graduated from Burnsville High School. She married in 1976 and became the mother of 7 children.

Laurie stayed in the home raising her family. She loved to cook, bake, sewed very well and made beautiful needlework. Laurie began playing the guitar at the age of 15 and sang worship songs throughout the years. She loved the snow, big beautiful trees and western movies. Laurie enjoyed traveling, interior decorating and graphic home design. Most people knew her for her big curly hairstyle.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Tracy Kunze and Cassandra Provo.

Laurie is survived by her husband, Jim Stine of the home; 4 sons, Jay Jensen, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Hans Arwick and wife Danielle, Stacey, Minnesota, Jeffrey Arwick, Monte Arwick and wife Lynette all of Grandview, Missouri; 4 daughters, Callie Kelley and husband Billy, Grain Valley, Missouri, Tracy Hannon and husband Brandon, Belton, Missouri, Jubilee Arwick, Kansas City, Missouri, Rosanna Harbin and husband Aaron, Platte City, Missouri; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandson; a brother, Jeffrey Provo, Grandview, Missouri; her sister, Jessica Montgomery, Wichita, Kansas; other relatives and many friends.


Funeral services were held Friday, July 17, 2020 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with private family burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
