Linda Sue Glaze

Linda "Sue" Glaze, age 78, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, gained her wings on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Meadow View Health & Rehabilitation in Harrisonville, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda Sue Glaze was born in Lincoln, Missouri, the daughter of Robert Elvin Bartlett and Mary Emmaline Curtis. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose life centered around her family.

Linda worked as an activities director at an assisted living facility and bus driver in Arizona, roles that reflected her love for people and her heart for helping. She brought joy to those around her with her warm personality and infectious smile. She loved keno, playing hand & foot, fishing with family, KC Chiefs and KC Royals. She enjoyed a pork tenderloin sandwich and fried green tomatoes with her staple, Diet Coke. Above all, she treasured being with her family.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her family, including her four children, eleven grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Linda was survived by her three beloved children, Robin Slade, Jake Glaze, and Suzanna Shaw, and many other loved ones.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Billy Joe Glaze; her daughter Brenda Sue Hodges; her parents, Robert Elvin Bartlett and Mary Emmaline Curtis; her brother Harvey Bartlett, and her sisters Norma Jackson, Pat Wood, Mary Bossert, and Diana Burke.

Linda Sue will be remembered for the many smiles and laughs she shared with everyone she met.

Cremation with interment at National Memorial Cemetery Cave Creek, Arizona at a later date.
