Linda Sue Helm (Polzin)

Linda Sue Helm (Polzin) was born on March 10th, 1965, in Clinton Missouri. The daughter of Bobby Joe and Sharron Polzin of Creighton, Missouri. Linda departed this life on December 10th , 2025.

As a child Linda was a member of the Creighton Wranglers, participated in band playing the saxophone and played softball.

When she was a young adult, Linda enjoyed running around with her sister Cindy, and brother-in-law Curt and eventually followed them to Texas.

When she returned to Missouri, Linda became a mother to her first daughter Kaylon in 1986, and later in life had her second and third daughters, Jodi and Addi.

Linda worked for the last 10 years at DW Murrow Enterprises and became a supervisor there. She took pride in her work there and was a great employee.

She was a devoted member of the Salvation Lutheran Church and was firm in her faith and her belief in Jesus Christ and knew heaven was her home.

Most recently in life she enjoyed her role as Grandma and loved being called Ohma.

She had a dog named Alice and loved being a dog mom.

In addition to that Linda loved playing bingo weekly and even travelled to different towns to play.

Linda was proceeded in death by her parents Bobby Joe and Sharron Polzin, and her sister Cindy Cumpton.

Linda is survived by her daughters Kaylon Helm of Creighton Missouri, Jodi Cumpton (Austin) of Garden City, Missouri and Addi Butterworth of Belton, Missouri. Grandchildren Trenton Helm, Chloe Bryant, McKenleigh Brown and Parker Bloomer. Sister Brenda Escalante (Marcos) of Urich, Missouri, brother Rob Polzin (Tina) of Harrisonville, Missouri and brother-in-law Curt Cumpton of Urich, Missouri. Many nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with Interment at Lutheran Cemetery, Creighton, Missouri.
