Linda M. Ganey

Linda Mae Ganey, of Belton, Missouri was born May 21, 1959 in Kirksville, Missouri the daughter of Clayton and Marjorie (Huff) Thomas. She departed this life on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Belton Regional Medical Center, Belton, Missouri at the age of 56 years, 5 months and 19 days.
On July 21, 2001, Linda was united in marriage to Edward Wayne Ganey in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Linda was a homemaker. She enjoyed helping at her daughters dance studio, Mia's Elite Dance Studio in Belton and all being around all the dancers. Linda was a member of the Southview Baptist Church, Raytown, Missouri. Being with her children and her grandchildren was her life and she loved her dogs.
Linda was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Ganey of the home; two sons, Eric Paul and wife Carley, Independence, Missouri, Stephen Smith, Kansas City, Missouri; a daughter, Mia Cottingham and husband Charles, Raymore, Missouri; 6 grandchildren; her mother and step-father, Marjorie and Don Crocker and a sister, Theresa Lininger all of Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Austin Cemetery near Archie, Missouri.
