Linda D. "Red" Murphy

 Linda Dorene “Red” Murphy of Lee’s Summit, Missouri was born September 22, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Robert Bevely and Catherine Marie (Coy) McCulloh. She departed this life on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at her home at the age of 75 years and 27 days. 

 On July 11, 1985 Linda was united in marriage of Darryl Wesley Murphy in Kansas City, Missouri.

Linda was a hairdresser and worked out of her house early on then at various beauty shops in Lee’s Summit. Linda grew up in the Garden City, Missouri community and was a graduate of Sherwood High School, Creighton, Missouri. She enjoyed collecting antiques, cooking, baking, going to the local thrift shops and going to the lake with her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband  Darryl Wesley Murphy, and her parents. 

Linda is survived by her two sons, Clinton D. Pringle (Crystal) and Jesse Clayton Pringle (Marviel) all of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; four grandchildren Cierra Deann Pringle, Austin Marshall Pringle Sadie Lynn Pringle and Sareal Thomas Pringle and four step-grandchildren; her brother, Chuck McCulloh, St. Joe, Arkansas; other relatives and a host of friends. 

Memorial Graveside service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. and inurnment in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.

There will be a reception following the funeral at Garden City Methodist Church from 2-4pm. Their address is 500 S 5Th St, Garden City, MO 64747.
