Lois Nadine Siens of Stilwell, Kansas was born October 2, 1932 in Jasper, Missouri the daughter of George Clifford and Cecile Marie (Collier) Berry. She departed this life on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Menorah Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas surrounded by love and family at the age of 83 years and 8 days.
On March 4, 1956, Lois was united in marriage to Robert Edman Siens in Nashville, Missouri.
Lois was a homemaker and later was employed as a data processor for Conoco/Phillips Oil Company in Ponca City, Oklahoma until her retirement in December of 1993. After retirement she became a Para for special needs children in the Blue Valley School District and later did babysitting in other peoples homes. She was a faithful member of Overland Park Baptist Temple, Overland Park, Kansas. Lois enjoyed reading her bible, her flowers, doing crossword puzzles, playing games on her computer and tablet, Starbucks and was a true blue Royals fan. Her most important job was taking care of her family and hanging out with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lois had lived in Kansas City, Missouri, Wichita, Kansas and Ponca City, Oklahoma before moving to Stilwell in 1998.
Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by a sister, Annabell Marcus.
Lois is survived by her husband, Bob Siens of the home; a son, John Siens, Stilwell, Kansas; two daughters, Cathy Donovan and husband, Dan and Carol Skaggs and husband, Rodney all of Overland Park, Kansas; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Gaylen Berry, Pittsburg, Kansas; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral Services were held Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Overland Park Baptist Temple, 11648 Antioch Rd, Overland Park, Kansas.
Graveside services were held Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
