Lucille "Lucy" Fay Howe

Lucille Fay Howe of Peculiar, Missouri was born February 7, 1939 in Leeton, Missouri the daughter of Eldredge and Nada (Milum) Howe and was welcomed into the family with brothers, Wayne, Wendell and sister, Shirley. Lucy departed this life on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Golden Years Center for Rehab and Healthcare, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 85 years, 2 months, and 5 days.

Lucy was employed for 29 years as an assembler for Casco Area Workshop, Harrisonville, Missouri until her retirement in November of 2010. In May of 2012, Lucy became associated with Cass County Community Living where she was living out her best life. She loved to get her hair cut and colored red, going out for breakfast and Starbucks, watching cooking shows and the T.V. series, Heartland. Lucy especially liked sweet snacks, coffee and iced coffee at McDonalds. Lucy loved being around little children, enjoyed communications with a special niece Carolyn, the color purple and diamonds. 

She is survived by family and a host of friends. Lucy’s spunky personality will be sadly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving Her here on Earth. 

Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2024 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with a private Internment at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Warrensburg, Missouri.
