Margie Brown

Margaret Rose Brown of Garden City, Missouri was born September 21, 1957 in Clinton, Missouri the daughter of William Wheeldon and Norma Jean (VanCamp) Handke.  She departed this life on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Crown Rehab and Healthcare Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 66 years, 1 month and 12 days.

On June 9, 2012 Margie was united in marriage to Cleatis Albert Brown in Amoret, Missouri.

Margie was employed in the laundry department at Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri for over 20 years before her retirement in 2019.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing, doing crafts and collecting Harley Davidson memorabilia.  Margie was a lifelong area resident.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Margie is survived by her husband, Cleatis Brown of the home; two sons, Jr. Brown and Jake Brown (Arianna) all of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren (Dana, Benjamin, Jaxon and Liam); her step-father, Ernest Handke, Amoret, Missouri; two sisters, Twylia Siegel,Ohio and Stacy Dohle, Springfield, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.

Cremation with no services scheduled.
