Marion Sue Harris

Marion Sue Harris, age 73, of Belton Missouri passed away on January 9, 2024.  She was born in Clinton, Oklahoma on August 1, 1950, to Frank and Billie Sills.  Marion "Sue" was raised and lived in Wichita, Kansas where she met her husband William Martin Harris. Sue was a wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother.  She dedicated her life to loving and caring for every person that she met.  Most of all she was a proud grandmother to 8 grandchildren, Kennedi, Astin, Brianne, Krystian, Mkai, Ayden, Brian, and Reygan. These grandchildren truly were the light and joy of her life.

Growing up with a father that worked hard as a machinist and a mother as a registered nurse, Sue instilled a strong work ethic into her family, leading by example, and doing anything it took to provide for her loved ones, including the numerous pets her children brought home to live in the backyard!  Her generosity exuded and she always welcomed friends and family with open arms into her home.  It was the simple things in life that brought joy to Sue, home cooked family meals, cheering on her children in sports, camping at the lake, laughing with her grandchildren, or just a quiet movie and popcorn date night with her husband.

"In Everything, do unto others as you would have them do to you".  This is the golden rule Sue lived by and instilled in her family.  She carried on her spiritual mentorship from her parents and always stayed faithful through good and tough times.  Her legacy of warmth, her contagious laugh and smile, her kindness and inclusive spirit will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sue is survived by her husband William M. Harris and two sons, Kurtis Jantz and daughter 'n law Yasmine Boisson and son Brian Jantz and daughter 'n law Sue Ann Jantz, brother David Sills and sister 'n law Sandy Sills, brother Brad Sills and sister 'n law Tessa Sills.

May Grandma Sue rest in peace.
