Mary Clara Bruce

Mary Clara Bruce of Harrisonville, Missouri was born February 26, 1925 in Secretary, Maryland the daughter of John Milford and Ida Mary (Rahalski) Vane. She departed this life on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Crown Care Center, Harrisonville at the age of 94 years, 3 months and 25 days.
On November 1, 1958, Clara was united in marriage to John Emery Bruce in Drexel, Missouri. They moved to Harrisonville in 1985.
Clara was employed as a secretary in the finance department for a telephone company. She was baptized as of one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on December 12, 1964 and was an active member of the Harrisonville Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Clara enjoyed cooking, crocheting, spending time in the ministry and loved all her cats.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Bruce on September 3, 1988.
Clara is survived by her witness family and friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, Missouri.
