Mary J. "Jerrie" Holden

Mary Jeraldine “Jerrie” Holden, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born January 15, 1935 in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Jerry and Mary Buckley. She departed this life on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 17 days.

On November 20, 1993, Jerrie was united in marriage to John Douglas Holden in Denver, Colorado.

Jerrie was an Assistant Daycare Director. She was a devout Catholic and member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville. She loved her family and loved talking about her Buckley Family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Francine Holden and Mary Ann Getty and a brother, Bill Buckley.

Jerrie is survived by her husband, John D. Holden of the home; a son, Joe McConnell and wife Denise, Anchorage, Alaska; two daughters, Michelle Holden and husband Jason Needham, Kansas City, Kansas, Heather Bandi and husband Srinivas, Ft. Collins, Colorado; 7 grandchildren, Tyler, Courtney, Lorraine, Michael, Alicia, Ashley, Morgan and Trinity; a great-grandson, Jude; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2700 E. Mechanic Street, Harrisonville, Missouri with cremation to follow the service.

Family received friends Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
