Matthew Allen Keck, age 40 passed away unexpectedly on September 29th, 2026, in Sedalia Missouri. Matthew was born February 4th, 1986, in Harrisonville Missouri to Bart Keck and Tina Bentley. Matthew was known for his passion for all things outdoors, motorcycles and the open road. Whether he was riding his motorcycle along the back roads, camping at the lake or simply tossing a line in the water at a local lake, he felt most at home outdoors doing what he loved most! His enthusiasm for adventure was contagious, and he inspired friends and family to slow down, appreciate life’s simple pleasures and create lasting memories with those he loved.
Matthew was a devoted partner, son, brother, father, and friend. His kindness and sense of humor touched everyone he met. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and share bits of his life experiences with those he knew were fighting the same struggles. He was always up for the spontaneous bike ride with his friends. His loyalty, compassion, and ability to bring people together and make sure everyone was good will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his fiancé Rita Marie Sua and children Logan, Kenyon and Kailani, and his beloved dog Esther of the home, his dad and stepmom Bart and Rhiannon Keck, his mom Tina Bentley, his grandma Charolette Keck, two sisters, Ashley and Sarah Keck, his aunts Cinde Keck, Patricia Keschinger and Joan Dwyer, his grandma Donna Abney, nephews Andrew and Brayden Taylor and Justin Keck and several cousins, extended family and countless friends that were enriched simply by his presence. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in each of us forever.
Family and friends are encouraged to honor his memory by tossing a line in the water, taking a motorcycle ride on his favorite road and simply just get outdoors and enjoy life to the fullest because that is what he did!
Matthews adventurous spirit will continue to ride on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
“The road may end, but the journey and memories will forever remain”
