Michael Joseph Ring Sr.

Michael Joseph Ring Sr. age 71 of Harrisonville, Missouri departed this life Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at his home surrounded by love and family.

Married to his chosen by God wife of 52 years on Feb. 24, 1971 in Cody, Wyoming.

Mike was expert drywall finisher. He loved trapping in his youth and as a family, hunting & fishing. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren. He always provided for his family. We never missed a meal. Worked together cooking. Smoked meats, fish, & canned foods. He was always recording movies. Loved the Chiefs & Royals sports teams & Olympics. When things were serious, he had something funny to make us laugh. Dry humor – “Don’t worry, be happy!” He always prayed together with wife & daughter before going to bed.

Mike was preceded in death by daughter Tammy Marie, his parents, brothers, & cousins.

He is survived by wife Sherry Ring, son Mike Jr. & his wife Christy, our daughter Christina & children, and their father Cecil Collins & wife Rena, that includes multiple grandchildren & great-grandchildren, brothers & sisters, family & friends.

The family is invited to Crossroads Assembly of God Church for lunch after the service.

Cremation with a celebration of life service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with inurnment at Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri at a later date.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
