Mike Hall Sr.

Michael Seburn Hall Sr. of Harrisonville, MO was born on September 28th, 1956 in Lawrence, KS to Seburn and Aletha Hall. He departed from this life on August 13th, 2024 at the age of 67 at Golden Years Long Term Care Facility. 

Mike attended Shawnee Mission West and graduated in 1974. On July 21st, 1978 Mike was united in marriage to Louise Rose Carr in Kansas City, KS. Mike was employed as a grocery stocker and head clerk for Safeway (Food Barn) as well as Price Chopper. Later in life he had multiple business ventures including a janitorial service, discount retail store, and an auction house.

Mike had a love of plants and enjoyed gardening. Over the years, Mike cared for a variety of pets including dogs, goats, chickens, and cats. He never met an animal he didn’t love. In his free time, he enjoyed watching old westerns, coloring, and looking for a good bargain.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters: Marie, Julia, and Pansy. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Louise R. Hall of Harrisonville, MO; his brother Albert C. Hall (Clarissa) of Basehor, KS; Three sons: Michael S. Hall Jr. (Emily) of Raytown, MO; Marcus L. Hall (Misti) of Harrisonville, MO; and Jason S. Hall of Kansas City, MO; Seven grandchildren: Tyler, Samara, Braden, Destiny, Leia, Kegan, and Lucas; and many more family and friends. 

Visitation will be held 1:30 p.m. - 2:15 pm. Friday, August 16, 2024 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. 

A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024 at Norris Cemetery, Urich, Missouri.
