Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Wilson, of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born June 21, 1921 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of Ray M. and Elizabeth Jane (Webster) Roberts. She departed this life Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at Camden Health Center, Harrisonville at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 23 days.
On January 16, 1944, Nancy was united in marriage to William Hugh ""Bill"" Wilson in Harrisonville.
Nancy was employed as a Legal Secretary for Swanson, Midgeley, Gangwere, Eager, Thurlo and Clarke, Kansas City, Missouri until her retirement in 1981. Later she was employed by Crouch, Crouch, Spangler & Douglas, Harrisonville, Missouri. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the church choir, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Business and Professional Women's Club all of Harrisonville and many Community Choirs. Nancy was a 1939 graduate of Harrisonville High School.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wilson on December 1, 2000; two infant daughters; two brothers, Gordon and David.
She is survived by a son, William H. Wilson Jr., Warsaw, Missouri; three daughters, Joyce M. Wilmoth and husband, Robert, Lee's Summit, Missouri, Carol L. Cambron and husband Bruce, Omaha, Nebraska, Pamela J. Kormann and husband Jeff, Jefferson City, Missouri; four grandchildren; a brother, Stephen Roberts, Haywood, California; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A memorial service was held Monday February 20, 2006 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with inurnment in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the charity of one's choice.
