Nikolas Orrison Jones, lovingly known as Niko/Oko/Super NO-J, 18 years old, from Garden City, Mo.
Living in Glory, leaving behind his father and mother, MD & Rachel Jones. His 10 siblings, Cortlen, Constance, Channing, August, Trustin, Eliana, Alexander, Charlotte, Malachi, Theodore.
Nikos charisma and energy shined everywhere he went. Wanting nothing more than to make you laugh and to leave a lasting impression. He loved his Lord with a fierceness, cherished his friendships, worked hard day in and day out, training his body in the gym.
Niko was a proud graduate of homeschooling, enjoying his Co-ops classes and classmates while easily testing out of all subjects. Much of his younger years were spent reading books about adventures, then reenacting these adventures with his brothers and sisters; out in the pastures, on the trampolines, in the lofts of the barns and climbing the biggest trees.
Many years of football with his dad and Christ Prep Football, gave him dreams of an NFL career with an unwavering commitment for his Chiefs. Nikos love for politics led him into several years with Teenpact with the future hopes of becoming a state senator.
Nikos beautiful talent for the piano led him to composing several songs over his years of lessons, searching out pianos everywhere he went just to hear how they sounded and felt on his fingers.
His never ending love for peanut butter and jelly, nutty buddies, oatmeal cream pies, and beans and rice, were unmatched. Yet when presented with someone that had none, he would quickly give his to share.
Never knowing a dare or challenge he would back down from, his boldness led him to fight for the underdog, bring encouragement that was contagious, and a desire to serve all who needed help.
Niko is missed beyond words, his salvation was guaranteed by His Lord that laid down his life for him on the cross. We have peace knowing where he is, while our hearts grieve continually without him.
