Patricia H. Atteberry

Patricia H. (Holt) Atteberry, formerly of Harrisonville, MO passed from this life on September 23, 2025. She was born in Columbia, MO August 23, 1937, the eldest daughter of Carl B. and Ada Lorraine (Phillippe) Holt. On September 15, 1956, she was united in marriage to Jack H. Atteberry at the Sacred Heart Church in Columbia, MO. They enjoyed sixty years of marriage.

Patricia was active in the Church serving as a Lecturer, a member of the Women's Auxiliary, and former CCD Director and Teacher. Patricia was quite creative and applied her talents to sewing, painting and holiday decorating. She was a gifted writer and orator, as well, who thrived in a social setting. She had a robust laugh and a zest for enjoying the smallest things in life. An exceptional hostess, she set a dazzling table and made every occasion special. She also loved antiquing and collecting stemware. Patricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother devoted to her family, friends and church. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sister, Nedra Moreau. She is survived by her four daughters, Teresa (Kevin) Riggs, Pamela (Michael) Batliner, Laurel Carr, and Julia (Fabrice) Reffay, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass is scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, October 3, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2700 E Mechanic, Harrisonville, MO. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service starting at 9:30 am. The Rosary will be said at 10:40 am. Interment is at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
