Paul Allen Hyde

Paul Allen Hyde was born January 4, 1956, in Clinton, Missouri to Lester ‘Bob’ and Barbara (Kimes) Hyde. He passed Sunday, March 17, 2024, surrounded by family. He attended Gladstone Schools until the family moved to Garden City, Missouri. He graduated from Sherwood High School, Class of 1975.

He was united in marriage to Debra Mae Sexson on October 9, 1984. To this union three children were born, Matthew Allen, Sarah Elizabeth, and Seth Christopher.

He worked for several years at Sherman and Bowers Surveying. He later took a career as a truck driver for Sutton Trucking and eventually True Value.

Paul enjoyed all things with wheels and was a big kid himself. His favorite things were collecting toy trucks, cars, trains, tractors, and equipment with his grandsons. He loved talking about history with his granddaughter, Lily.

He is preceded in death by his Parents Bob and Barbara Hyde, Grandmother Christene Thompson (Granny), Uncle Bill Kimes, and Brother-in-Law Pete Koelling.

He is survived by his wife Debbie of the home. Son Matt (Becca), Daughter Sarah (Trent), and Son Seth (Kimberly). Grandchildren Lily, Lucy, Jack, Jesse, Flynn, and a future grandson arriving soon. His Sisters Patricia Koelling and Christie (Kyle) Burton. Aunt Glenda (Terry) Gash. Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law Jack and Marilyn Bartholomew. Several nieces, nephews, and loved family and friends.
