Paula A. Long, 77, of Harrisonville, Missouri. Gained her heavenly wings: December 1, 2020 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO.
As young mother, Paula worked as a commercial artist, traveling the United States. Experiencing somethings, that not many are lucky to do. After having her three daughters, Paula decided to switch careers and be closer to her kids. She enjoyed reading, gardening, planting flowers, and feeding the birds. While living in many beautiful different places-, she enjoyed hiking as well as digging for Indian ruins, finding arrowheads, broken pieces of pottery, and placing them back together one by one to make a finish piece. She loved reading, cooking, going to the movies with her daughters, fishing with her family. Swimming in the lake and rivers ,She taught her daughters and grandchildren how to crochet, she enjoyed playing games, visiting with her family, and watching her grandchildren and Great Grandchildren grow as her own daughters became mothers.
Paula was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Ferla, her father Salvatore Ferla, And brother Arthur Ferla.
She is survived, by her loving husband; David long, of the home. Three daughters, Cindy Copeland, Harrisonville, MO. Karrie Barreras, Brookings, OR. And Tracey Cousin. 8 Grandchildren, Amber, Tiffany, Ashley, Nicole, Alena, Kimberly, Ariel, and Prudience. Several Great Grandchildren. A brother-Sal Ferla and a sister Bernice Chance. Both of Connecticut. Other relatives and loving friends.
Paula will be dearly missed by each and everyone. Her laugh and smile will be embedded forever in all of our hearts. We love you.
