Paulette Jean Chandler was born on August 5, 1947 in Clinton Missouri and departed this life on March 1, 2026.
Paulette was the eldest child born to Harold Gene Chandler and Pauline Mae (Estep) Chandler. She gave birth to her only daughter, Dawn, on March 5, 1970.
Paulette had many joys in life from family and friends, to working and caring for her beloved pets throughout the years. Rescuing and tending to the tiny creatures were always something that filled her life with joy.
Nothing quite matched Paulette’s passion for music. After graduating from Sherwood High in 1965 she quickly hit it off with performing her music for others to hear. From often playing at the Hotel Muehlebach, to other hotels and venues around the Kansas City area, she took great pride in being able to do so. Her passion for music transpired to teaching and giving lessons, implanting her love for music to anyone she talked to. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Pauline Chandler; her daughter Dawn Doring; and brother-in-law Paul T Firestone.
Paulette is survived by her two siblings, Cindy Firestone and Glenn Chandler; sister-in-law Jerri Lynn Chandler; nephews Kyle Simpson (Daisy) and Austin Chandler; niece Krista Gregory (Michael); great nieces and great nephews along with many other cousins and close family members.
