Phyllis Dolen, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born July 11, 1943 in Strasburg, North Dakota the daughter of Harry and Elizabeth (Deisz) Heidrich. She departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at her home at the age of 71 years, 9 months and 1 day.
On July 11, 1984, Phyllis was united in marriage to Louis M. Dolen in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Phyllis was employed with The American Academy of Family Physicians from 1969 until her retirement in May of 2005. She was a graduate of the University of North Dakota. Phyllis loved gardening, traveling, fishing and being in the outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Louis M. Dolen of the home; a daughter, Angie Graham and husband Greg, Louisburg, Kansas; four granddaughters, Aften, Huntre, Avery and Mable; two brothers, Dewayne Heidrich and wife Janice, Linton, South Dakota, Richard Heidrich and wife Mary, Mandan, North Dakota; 11 nieces and nephews; her beloved Dog, Dakota; other relatives and friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
