Raymond Andy Muse

Raymond Anderson ?Andy? Muse of Lee?s Summit, Missouri was born August 26, 1936 in Sherman, Texas the son of Marion Spence and Billie Jo (Haralson) Muse. He departed this life Monday, May 10, 2010 at St. Luke?s East Hospital, Lee?s Summit at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 14 days.
On October 28, 1989, Andy was united in marriage to Wanda Fay Spencer in Lee?s Summit.
Andy was a fireman for the Lee?s Summit Fire Department until his retirement in 2001. Later, he had been employed as a security guard at the Bannister Mall. Andy was an Air Force veteran and was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed collecting Budweiser memorabilia and antiques. Andy was a wonderful and kind person to everyone and considerate of others.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Robert Muse.
Andy is survived by his wife, Wanda Muse of the home; three daughters, Theresa Cherry, Des Moines, Iowa, Lisa Clayton and husband Matt, Corydon, Iowa, Jeri Robinson, Grandview, Missouri; four grandchildren, Mindy, Heidi, Bo and Sarah; two great-grandchildren, Taigen and Trent; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, May 13, 2010 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial at the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
