Rebecca Susan Gibbs (Becky)

Rebecca S. Gibbs (Becky) of Raymore, MO was born on January 1, 1944 and went to meet her Savior on August 9, 2026. She was 82 years old. Becky was born to the late Gerald Witt and Icedore (Witt) Benton in Bosworth, MO. She later moved to the Kansas City area and graduated from Gardner High School in 1961.

Becky worked for Safeway grocery and there she met her husband to be, Darrell Gibbs. They married January 7, 1962 and celebrated 64 years together.

Over the years, Becky enjoyed gardening, quilting and other handcrafts, and reading (especially her Bible). She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Becky would say the most important day of her life was the day she trusted Jesus as her Savior. This forever changed her, and she loved to share with others the good news that their sins could be forgiven by Jesus and look forward to being with Him in Heaven forever.

Becky is survived by her husband, Darrell Gibbs of the home; son Ronald Gibbs (Susette) of Wewahitchka, FL; daughter Dori Nicoll (Scott) of Cleveland, MO; son, Stephen Gibbs (Angie) of Stilwell, KS; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, and multiple great grandchildren.

Cremation with no services scheduled.
