Richard James Jones of Garden City, Mo was born November 23, 1984 in Lee's Summit, Mo the son of Richard Hubert and Cindy Lee(Pittman) Jones. He departed this life on Saturday October 24, 2020 in Garden City, Mo. at the age of 35 yrs 11 months and 1 day.
On July 24, 2020 RJ was united in marriage to Jackie Rose Manker in Garden City Mo.
RJ and his daddy owned and operated RJ's Septic Service, Harrisonville, Missouri. He was a born again Christian and a member of Heart of Life Church, Garden City, Mo. He was a 2003 graduate of Harrisonville High School He loved his daughters and he loved semi trucks especially Peterbilt semis.
RJ is survived by his wife, Jackie Jones and a stepson Lance Manker of the home. He dearly loved his surviving daughters Cheyenne Elizabeth and Aubrey Renee Jones of Harrisonville Mo, who were of a previous relationship with Marcia (Pritchett) Thomas also of Harrisonville, Mo. His father and mother, Richard "Rick" Jones and Cindy Lee Jones of Harrisonville, Mo. A brother and sister-in-law Jason and Brandy Jones of Kansas City, Mo. a sister Nikki Jones of Harrisonville, Mo. his paternal grandparents Richard and Mary Jones, Harrisonville, Mo. His Aunt Jenny Jones, three nephews Dustin and Lane Jones and Jason "JJ" Johnson; two nieces, Kristen and Gracie Palmer; a great nephew Nathanial Jones of Harrisonville Mo. A great-aunt Bobi Blaine of Archie, Mo. His Uncle and Aunt Scott and Krista Jones and four cousins of Columbia, Mo and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Heart of Life Church, Garden City, Missouri with burial in Clearfork Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the church.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the RJ Jones Memorial Fund in care of Dickey Funeral Home. Please make checks payable to Mary Jones.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
