Bob was born June 24, 1931, in old Bethany Hospital, Kansas City, Kansas.
He attended Garfield Grade School, Benton Grade School, Central Junior High School, Westport High School and Manual High and Vocational School, graduating there in 1948.
He became an Eagle Scout in 1947 in the H. Roe Bartle Class of Eagles, and was a member of the tribe of Mic-O-Say.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War, and was a survivor of the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. He was a member of the VFW #4409 in Harrisonville and a member of The Chosin Few. He was a previous member of the Marine Corps League and the American Legion.
He was an avid bowler for the most of his life retiring at age 78 after a hip replacement.
He was a printer/typesetter for fifteen years and then went into various sales work. Later he became an auditor for several motels.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Lee and Lola Mae (Hamilton) Granger, Sister, Gerre Ellen Williams of Overland Park, Kansas and a Daughter, Barbara Lynne Herbert of Tacoma, Washington.
He is survived by his wife, Susan M. Granger, of the home.

Cremation with a Memorial Graveside Service will be Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Inurnment at Carpenter Cemetery, Chilhowee, Missouri with Military Honors.
