Robert Joe Polzin of Creighton, Missouri was born May 22, 1941 near Creighton, Missouri the son of Carl William and M. Louise (McCoy) Polzin. He departed this life Sunday, April 9, 2006 at his home in Creighton at the age of 64years, 10 months and 17 days.
On, May 22, 1960 Bobby Joe was united in marriage to Sharron Kay Niemeyer in Creighton, Missouri.
Robert was owner of Polzin Construction Company, Creighton, Missouri until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of Salvation Lutheran Church, Daugherty, Missouri. Robert was a 1959 graduate of Creighton High School and was a lifelong Creighton resident. He enjoyed family, his grandchildren and his daughter-in-law, Tina calling her his fourth daughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Sharron Polzin of the home; a son, Rob Polzin and wife, Tina, Garden City, Missouri; three daughters, Cindy Cumpton and husband, Curtis, Linda Helm, Brenda Miles and husband, Martin all of Urich, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Kaylon, Chancey, Mandy, Jonathan, Bobbie Jo, Nicholas and Jodi; two sisters, Billie Sue Jenkins, Drexel, Missouri, Nancy Smith, Creighton, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at the Salvation Lutheran Church, Daugherty, Missouri with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery near Creighton, Missouri.
