Ronald Joe Ebeck of Gunn City, Missouri was born march 23, 1945 in Belton, Missouri the son of Walter Franklin and Helen Maxine (Smalley) Ebeck. He departed this life Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 19 days.
On March 17, 1978, Ronnie was united in marriage to Gwen Gregg in Gunn City.
Ronnie Joe was employed as a foundation worker for Freddies Foundation, Greenwood, Missouri since 1998. He had a talent for music, playing the guitar and singing. Ronnie Joe enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting and playing sports. He grew up in Paola and Shawnee, Kansas, lived in Marietta, Georgia and moved to Gunn City in 1978.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Ebeck Jr.; twin daughters, Sonya and Rhonda Ebeck and his step-father, John Ebeck.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen Ebeck of the home; four sons, Richard Gregg, Travis Ebeck, David Ebeck and Cole Ebeck all of Gunn City, Missouri; two daughters, Teresa McDonald and husband Kenney and Lisa Kemp and husband Kenney all of Marietta, Georgia; five grandchildren, Steven, Travis Jr., Julia, Eli and Connor; a brother, Dale Ebeck, Greeley, Kansas; three sisters, Ruth George, Kansas City, Missouri; Tajuania Walters, Fontana, Kansas; Connie Foulk; Osawatomie, Kansas; a step-brother, Gary Shaddox, Osceola, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A memorial service was held Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the First Baptist Church, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
