Roy L. Duncan

Roy L. Duncan, age 85 of Belton, Missouri was welcomed into Heaven Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at his home. He was born February 11, 1939 to parents Ernest Duncan and Bertha Wright Duncan.

Roy married Barbara Wooten, daughter of Melvin and Mabel Wooten, and they had three children. He enjoyed playing guitar and writing songs and was known for his joking and teasing manner, as well as his love of a good meal. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from the US Postal Service.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Charles O’Dell, Erma Jean Gravitt and Larry Wayne Duncan.

He is survived by his loving wife, daughters Lisa (David) Mossinghoff, and Debra Duncan, son Steve (Stacy) Duncan, his two grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a man of God and Romans 8 was a favorite Bible chapter. A celebration of life service is to be planned in Spring 2025.
