Russell Jayden Mason

Russell Jayden Mason, of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born on October 24, 2002, in Nashville, Tennessee, to Simmone Moore. On May 5, 2021, he was proudly adopted by Preston and Allanna Mason—a moment he held dear and was incredibly proud of. He departed this life on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the age of 22.

Russell graduated from Harrisonville High School in 2021. During his school years, he was actively involved in sports, including wrestling, football, and track. Following high school, he underwent major shoulder surgery and had plans to join the military following recovery.

He was preceded in death by his Granna, Samantha Moore.

Russell is survived by his birth mother, Simmone Moore; his adoptive parents, Allanna and Preston Mason of Harrisonville, Missouri; and his four brothers: Michael Moore, Zander Mason, Issac Moore, and Trey Mason, all of Harrisonville, Missouri. He also leaves behind many other relatives and a host of friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
