Shawna Hutson-Branam

Shawna Jeanne Branam, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born October 20, 1958 in Harrisonville, Missouri the daughter of Norman Carl “Jack” and Shirley Jean (Bourland) Hutson. She departed this life on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 55 years, 1 month and 25 days.
Shawna was a Special Education Teacher for Archie, Harrisonville and East Lynne, Missouri school districts. She graduated from Central Missouri State University in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Special Education. Shawna was a member of the East Lynne Assembly of God and she loved doing crafts, scrapbooking, sewing, watching the birds and all kinds of animals.
Shawna is survived by her daughter, Brandee Branam of the home; her parents, Jack and Shirley Hutson, Hollister, Missouri; a brother, Shannon Hutson, Harrisonville, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Jeane and Larry Helwig, Wilson, North Carolina and Gerald and Connie Bourland, Peculiar, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Harrisonville Animal Shelter.
