Shea Beddo

Shea Beddo age 54 of Harrisonville, Missouri departed this life Saturday, July 12, 2025 at her home in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Shea graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in 1989 and married her husband, Duane, on August 19 of that same year.

Over the years, Shea devoted much of her time to her family and community. She was a Cub Scout Den Leader, a proud baseball and soccer mom for Dylan’s teams, and a regular volunteer at events throughout the Harrisonville School District.

Shea had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs, and spent many hours volunteering at local dog shelters across the Kansas City area. She began each day with a workout and was known for her kindness, quiet strength, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures—like a good margarita or glass of wine shared with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Duane; her son, Dylan, and daughter-in-law, Monica; her father, Mike; her sister, Stella; nephews Alex (Christina) and Colton; and her three dogs, Meeka, Kingston, and Jade. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Birch.

Cremation with a Celebration of Life Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
