Sheena Lynn (Phillips) Humphrey

Sheena Lynn Humphrey, 69 of Harrisonville, Mo passed away Wednesday May 7th, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City Mo. Sheena was born November 26, 1955 in Parsons, Kansas to Johnathan Benjamin Phillips and Virginia Claudette Shears Phillips. In 1963, Sheena relocated to Harrisonville where she met her lifelong friends Reta Bass Bolinger, Pamela Hawkins Ater, Theresa Welsch McNabb and later the love of her life Gerald Humphrey. Despite a long battle with physical illness, Sheena never lost sight of her sense of humor, determination or faith in Jesus her Savior. Sheena never met a stranger and happily gave to all who needed a helping hand. Sheena raised her family in Harrisonville and worked for many years in optics. Sheena was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings. Sheena is survived by her two sons, Michael Gaither and wife Misty of Raymore, MO, Kyle Humphrey of El Dorado Springs, MO, three grandchildren Christian Gaither, Tabitha Gaither, Brianne Gaither and four great grandchildren. A remembrance of life will be held for family and friends in the Harrisonville City Park.
