Terry Paul Seleman

Terry Paul Seleman of Creighton, Missouri was born May 14, 1940 in Kansas City, MO the son of Henry "Bud" Seleman and Agnes Agatha Young. He departed this life on Wednesday November 12, 2025 at the age of 85, at his home surrounded by love and family.

On May 14,1960 Terry was united in marriage to Carol Ann "Sugar" Jackson in Independence, MO. She proceeded him in death on May 27, 2020.

Terry was a supervisor at Valspar Paint in Kansas City, MO and retired in August 1991. He loved the outdoors and his farm that they moved to in 1971, which he named Finally Acres. Terry could be found fishing as long as the wind was out of the west, hunting rabbits, or taking care of cattle on the farm. He also enjoyed growing tomatoes and giving them away. After Sugar's passing, Terry's days were spent fishing and hunting with his great grandson, Dallas.

Terry is survived by his 2 sons, Paul Seleman and wife Marsha, Harrisonville, MO; Marty Seleman and wife Loretta, Garden City, MO; a daughter Ginny Luethe and husband Calvin, Eldorado Springs, MO; 4 grandchildren Kayla, Cassie, Austin, and Christopher; 5 great-grandchildren Dallas, Mason, Skyler, Gunner and Waylon; other relatives and many friends.

Cremation with a celebration of life visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Donations can be made through the link or sent to Dickey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 432, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
