Trevor Heydon Ross, 22, of Pleasant Hill, was born, December 2, 1998, in Kansas City, the son of Robert Travis and Laura Beth (Heydon) Ross. He departed this life, Sunday, May 23, 2021, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Trevor was a 2017, Pleasant Hill High School graduate.
Trevor was employed as a Serviceman for Spire. He also owned and operated Ross Lawn & Landscaping and Freedom Fireworks. He was a member of the Union Local #12561.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, dirt bike riding, a good party, and time spent with family and friends around a bon fire. Trevor loved life and lived it to the fullest and had a smile that would light up the room when he walked in. That smile and kindhearted good spirit will be missed by all who knew him.
Trevor is survived by his parents, Travis and Laura; his three sisters, Jessica Ross, Haley Ross, and the twinkle of his eye, Trinity Ross, all of Pleasant Hill; a cousin who shared the same home, Zoe Crockett of Virginia. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Bob & Becky Ross of Pleasant Hill; maternal grandfather, Duncan (and Kathleen) Heydon of Lee’s Summit; maternal grandmother, Doris (and Gerald) Prettyman of Pleasant Hill; several cousins; other relatives and a host of many many friends.
Visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Pastor Wyatt Shanks will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers are Nick Winger, Austin Oden, Kameron Trask, Cole Taylor, Jordan Smith, J.T. Thompson, Zack Gosselin, and Gunner Hahne. Honorary casket bearers are Bob Ross, Paul Heydon, Mark Heydon, Duncan Heydon, Gerald Prettyman, Travis Ross, Doug Oden, and Scooter Miller.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Trevor Ross Memorial Scholarship Fund which has been established at the Goppert Financial Bank. Contributions may also be sent in care of the funeral home.
