Vallie “Val” Jean Troup of Harrisonville, Missouri was born February 20, 1956 in Grand Junction, Colorado the daughter of Ralph Raymond and Dorothy (Fletcher) King. She departed this life on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at her home surrounded by love and family at the age of 63 years, 8 months and 28 days.
On April 4, 1976, Val was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Allen Troup in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
Val was a homemaker and the best mom in the world. She was a peace keeper, an all around amazing woman who loved her children, grandchildren and her dogs. Val loved to sew, crochet, tie die and collect Reborn babies. She enjoyed growing her flower garden and was everyone’s best friend.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonya Troup on September 14, 2012 and a brother, Rodney King.
Val is survived by her husband, Bob Troup of the home; two sons, Robert Troup Jr. and Matthew Troup both of Harrisonville, Missouri; three daughters, Angela Butler, Jessica Troup and Amanda Troup all of Harrisonville, Missouri; 11 grandchildren with 2 on the way; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Audie King of Montana; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service was held Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
